I just thought I would update this site really fast, becuase I am extremely bored right now. First off Bryant is working on the script for what will probably be the next movie right now. It is going to be another comedy set at SCU (that's Statham County University for those playing at home). Not a sequel to Checked Out, just set in the same place and the same Universe, like Clerks and Mallrats. Not that we need anymore comparisons to clerks. Hopefully the first draft of the script will be done soon and we can start the real work on it.
The UAA Film Club is getting off to a pretty decent start. Although there is no real steady membership yet, we are pretty much finished with out first short, a twilight zone-ish type of story that is looking like it will be about 20 minutes. We are doing the last of the shooting this weekend hopefully, and will try to have it edited soon there after.
The DP on Checked Out, Justin "Rubicar" Awe has a job now. Crazy as that sounds, it is actually true. He is working at Video City south I think, the big red barn looking one at huffman and old seward. So if you are in Anchorage, go in and bother him. Ask him if they ahve any new releases, or if they have that movie with that guy in it. Or just go see it for yourself, I know I had to. That's all for now. But once things start rolling a little more on this new movie we should have more posts on here.

So I finally remembered how to get on to this site to update it again. I have also updated the picture page, and have the message board back up and working. Go over there and post a message or a question or whatever. Just don't start any fights, Joe-X and Bus Tanks. And everyone make sure to tell all of you friends about the premeire, and bring a dollar or two for the Film Production Club donation jar. It is a new club at UAA that is basically a film studio for student films. The more money they get the more movies they will be able to produce. But if you are broke just come and watch the movie. It turned out better than I expected. Aside from a certain star wars reference in the film that I have hated since I first read the script a year ago, I am very happy with the movie and am looking forward to seeing it with an audience. Besides there will be free soda for some and door prizes, but seriously don't drink the code red as Bryant said earlier that is for journalists only.

I just remembered my username and password for this thing, so here is a quick update. We shot the last scenes last week, with Jill and Tony Sheppard. Pretty good stuff, and it was great to get it done finally. After about a month off Jill's character hadn't really changed, although I think that her hair might have been a little longer. I think that Bryant has most of the movie editted already, and will be able to get the rest done pretty quickly once he gets around to it. He is working on the slope again though so he is gone right now. I would expect that the editting process should be done in the two weeks that he is back next time. I think that he gets back next sunday like the 6th or some such. Justin and I have been working a little bit on some special features for the dvd, but that is a little ways in the future. Stay tuned for more info on the editting process, and the release date for the flick.

Well, time for another live update from the set. Bryant just called action so I have to type really queitly now. Brian Snoderly is acting right now. Pretty good stuff, even if he wont call the french revolution the freedom revolution. Other people on hand today were Paul Jones, Mike Sherry, Justin Awe, Ian something, Nick Sweet, and two girls whos names I cant reveal as they are top secret(or maybe I don't know them) either way. Things seem to be going pretty well overall, getting a bunch of stuff done. I'm sure Bryant will tell you more later, although I think that the only people who read this are probably here, except maybe Dan and Jason, and Jason is supposed to be here.

Unlike Bryant, who is trying to get sleep before shooting at 8 in the morning tomorow, I am working. I just added a ton of new pics on our picture page, some more actors who should have been up a while ago, and some behind the scenes stuff. Less than five hours left untill shooting, so I think I am going to watch a movie and try to sleep. Goodnight you princes of Maine, Kings of New England. (Bryant says i should be more personable, more like him in my posts, so I am going to try). Blaze, krill, etc. Hahahahah(weird silence and maybe feedback because this laugh is so loud it maxes out the levels on the mic)ahahaha

Next up, our associate producer/jack of all trades on the set Nick "Sweet to the Infinity" Sweet.............
Just sitting here, hanging out, waiting for something to do. We're between shots right now, so all the actors are bullshitting. Just thought I would say whats up to all the fans out there, now back to work.
And now without further ado, our first post from somene other than Bryant or Dave, our illustrious DP, thats director of photography get your mind out of the gutter, Justin "Rubicar" Awe............
Greetings to all 9 of our readers, 1 who has a split-personality, haha. Stupid. I know. Right now, Bry's going over lines with everyone, trying to look busy and shiznit.
I'm just glad he hasn't called me over to press the record button after he's setup the shot. "Justin. Come here. Press record." Jesus, I'm over here trying to post and
he's all "help". (rolls eyes) What a jerk.
Well, they are now shooting the pivotal laying on the floor in star scene. Good stuff, spent the entire time between now and the last pot laughing, even if the movie is lame, we will at least have a great gag reel. Okay, so stay tuned we will have updates from the cast and crew later.
SO here we are on the set of the flick. Bryant and Justin are busy filming a scene with Andrew and Jill, Pyburn and Kat. Nick Sweet, our associate producer and a man who will wear a few more hats before production is done, is sitting here reading this, Paul Jones, aka Fischer, is checking his email and eating an egg salad sandwich from craft serivce (actually the vending machine room in the CAS building). and Mike, aka Dave, is reading Paul's email over his sholder and bouncing a basketball. And last but not least our technical advisor/library employee is also busy checking her email. Well just thought i would check in, production is under way now and things are rolling smoothly, aside from me knocking over a bunch of shit with a basketball. I will get some of the cast and crew to update on here later tonight if they have some downtime between scenes.
