Well dear readers, due to the recent interest taken in Checked Out, we figured we'd return to the site where it all started.

In Checked Out News:

1. The film recently broadcast on Channel 5 (unauthorized). Reactions ranged from enjoying the film to being upset at the cussing.

2. The event ended up in the newpaper. We did radio interviews. More articles are being written about us now.

3. Selling the movie is back up to a full time job. We sold quite a few yesterday.

4. The Special Edition "Checked Out: Rennovated" should come out soon.

5. "Election 2004: Tony vs. Lisa" is set to be released on DVD this week.

6. There will be a column featured in Fridays paper about Scarface Productions.

That's all for now. To order a copy of the flick, email us a librarymovie@hotmail.com

Keep on lovin' folks.

THE LATEST
As of yesterday, The Second Scavenger Hunt is on DVD! I decided before any work on ISOTAC I should try to finish up any loose ends. Checked Out might be out on DVD before ISOTAC starts shooting as well, although if I do rush it, it will be a bare bones edition, with the the special edition (what we wanted to do all along) coming later in the year.

ISOTAC Preproduction has begun and we need all the help we can get. In the next two weeks, we're going to be thinking about things like actors, locations, and props. Anyone who wants to help out in that department give us an email at librarymovie@hotmail.com.

Speaking of librarymovie... uh. I think I'll bug Dave about starting a new site. One that's not called CHECKED OUT THE MOVIE BLOG.

Peace out.

Latest news on ISOTAC:

1. We set a loose shooting schedule the other day. The shoot will tentatively start shooting in August, which means we have an butt-ton of work to start doing right NOW.

2. Some the cast and crew met the other day to listen to Paul Jones and John Whitlock do a read through of the first draft. The chemistry is there. And it was a fun read. Good stuff. Laugh out loud stuff. We got our two leads.

3. The second draft is nearly done. Within the week, we'll probably start thinking about auditions and other preproduction stuff. Damnit, it's going to be a busy two months.

Bryant "B tt B" Mainord, signing off for now.

Okay. Much news on the Scarface Productions front.

1. Paul Jones of Checked Out fame has started production on his latest opus, which I believe is as of yet, untitled. A certain robe wearing weirdo had a non-speaking cameo in a library scene. Another Checked Out character was rumoured to have made a brief appearnace in the film, but I guess we'll have to wait for the final cut to be sure.

2. Speaking of Checked Out, it got another mention, as being "hilarious" in the June issue of the Northern Light. Thanks again Lester.

3. Second Scavenger Hunt DVD is delayed. Some things came up, and it might take a week or so for that to be finished.

4. But first and foremost on my mind is the new feature length film that hopefully will be shot in August. IN SEARCH OF THE ARMAGEDDON CHRONICLES. Several people are signed on, and the script was sent out to interested parties today. I want to start preproduction as soon as possible.
Also, Lisa Leuschner, of American Idol fame has expressed interest in the project. Which would be cool, because in my estimation she's a rising star, but right now she's not famous at all. If Matt Hopper fades before he sparkles, I have another "We used em' first" celebrity on the menu.
So that's it for now. I'd expect updates to start coming a hell of a lot faster starting pretty soon.
Heres the aforementioned LL.

Here's whats up for summer.
I have like four scripts halfway done. All of em are ideas I'm really into, but I can't seem to finish any of them. When I finally pick one to finish it's go be good.

Also, as many of you know Scarface Productions and Paradise Vendors teamed up again a couple weeks ago and put on a badass video scavenger hunt. I cut the footage down to a half hour DVD, and the results are beautiful. It's hilarious. Don't be surprised to see a line of similar documented events this summer. 4 dollars to purchase the DVD; free to most participants.

Register for the next scavenger hunt on the message board. Also, submit ideas for the next hunt. Details will be unfurled later this month. Nothing is certain but a late May or early June VSH is very likely.

First order of business: I have returned to Anchorage. I am in town for good, or at least a while. Yay/Damnit!

Onto the rest've the update!

Happy Easter; or is it properly said "More East"? BWA HAAHHAHAHAHAAA! As you can clearly see, I am not very funny, which is part of the reason the new script isn't finished. So basically here's the bad news: "Beekeeping" will not be shot this summer. That's that. Sorry.

The incomplete "Fish Out of Water: The Bryant Mainord Story" debuted last night here at Scarface Productions Headquarters. Laughs abounded.

Good to be back. I'm sure we'll have SOMETHING going on this summer. Check back whenever. Keep on krillin'.
Bryant
